Product details

Specs: 8 IR LED / phototransistor pairs, 0.375 in (9.525 mm) pitch; 8 separate analog voltages, 0V to supplied voltage; operating voltage 3.3-5.0V; supply current about 100 mA (LED current about 20-25 mA per pair, LEDs in series pairs); optimal sensing distance 0.125 in (3 mm); maximum recommended 0.25 in (6 mm); MOSFET allows LEDs off for power saving / PWM brightness; 2.95 x 0.5 x 0.125 in (without header pins), 0.11 oz (3.09 g) without header.

Compatibility: Requires analog inputs to take readings (Pololu note). Pololu Arduino library and Pololu AVR library for Orangutan controllers. Do NOT claim direct Raspberry Pi GPIO compatibility - Pi has no built-in ADC, would need an external ADC not verified on the Pololu page.

Power: 3.3-5.0V, about 100 mA supply current.

Package contents: Module + 25-pin 0.1 in header strip + 100 ohm through-hole resistor (resistor only needed if the board is broken apart).
