Adafruit VL53L0X Time-of-Flight Laser Distance Sensor - 30 mm to 1000 mm for Arduino and Raspberry Pi Robots

Rs 4,140

In stock — ready to ship

Precise distance to a surface directly ahead, e.g. stopping a robot before it hits a wall. Narrower sensing cone than sonar, avoiding the double-imaging / linearity problems of IR intensity sensors.

Product details

Specs: Default range about 30 mm to 1.2 m (title range about 30-1000 mm); long-range mode 1.5-2 m on a nice white reflective surface; accuracy 3-12% depending on ambient light/distance; sensing cone 35 degrees (Adafruit product page; some secondary summaries say about 25 degrees - use Adafruit 35 degrees); chip needs 2.8V, breakout handles 3-5V; I2C; 21.0 x 18.0 x 2.8 mm, 1.3 g; QT cable NOT included.

Compatibility: 3-5V power/logic via on-board regulator and level shifting. Adafruit explicitly names 3.3V Feather / Raspberry Pi and 5V Metro 328 / Arduino Uno. I2C, STEMMA QT / Qwiic, Arduino library and CircuitPython/Python (via Blinka).

Power: 3-5V via breakout (chip 2.8V).

Package contents: FLAG - not explicitly listed as a contents list on the fetched page, beyond the breakout itself. Earlier Adafruit description mentions a small piece of header - do NOT state header inclusion for the current STEMMA QT revision without checking current box contents.

Notes: No verified hero image - created without an image.
