The Seeed Studio MR24HPC1 is a 24 GHz mmWave human-presence module. It is worth considering when a project needs to detect a person who may be sitting still, rather than only reacting to obvious movement.
Plan the installation
Start with the room layout, mounting position and intended detection area. Test the sensor in the actual space before using its output to control lights or occupancy alerts. Follow the manufacturer's wiring and power guidance; this module requires a 5 V supply.
What to confirm before ordering
- The exact module and board revision.
- Power supply, interface and controller compatibility.
- Mounting, enclosure and cable requirements.
- Whether a bare module or a complete development kit is needed.
Presence sensing is useful for automation, but this guide does not establish suitability for safety-critical monitoring.
Explore sensors and modules or send your project requirements.
